Alternate Universes Blue Bell will be holding a special Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament on Saturday, August 11th, 2012. First place prize will be a brand new Apple iPad! Registration will open at 10AM and the tournament will begin promptly at Noon. Entry fee is $25.
The complete prize structure is:
1st Place: Apple iPad
2nd Place: 3x boxes of Return of the Duelist (available upon release)
3rd & 4th Places: $100.00 store credit each
5th through 8th: 1 sealed box of Return of the Duelist each (available upon release)
We will also be giving away Play Mats as door prizes!
This is an Advanced Constructed Swiss-Style tournament with the number of rounds depending on the number of players. There will be a top 8 cut. Local tournament rules will be in effect, so there will be no draws.
Side Events
We will be holding 8-player single elimination box tournaments for Galactic Overlord boxes beginning after the 2nd round. Entry fee for the box tournaments will be $12.00. We will also be holding 8-player Battle Packs drafts with the winner receiving 24 Battle Packs. Entry fee is $16.00.
