MTG Modern 1K Tournament – Saturday, March 23rd at AU Blue Bell

Alternate Universes is holding a special Magic: the Gathering 1K Modern Tournament at AU Blue Bell on Saturday, March 23rd! We will be giving away a total of $1000 worth of store credit to the top 8 players! If we get more than 50 players, the prize pool will include the top 16 players!

We’ll also be giving away door prizes and promo cards to random participants!

Registration begins at 8:00 AM and closes at 9:50 AM.
(Anyone registering after 9:50 AM will receive a first round loss for late registration.)

Play begins at 10:00 AM

Seating available for 600+ Duelists!!!

$20.00 entry fee.
Each player will receive 5 booster packs of Savage Strike for entering

Decklists are required and should be prepared in advance.

Decklists will be collected and verified at registration.
Please prepare your decklist before you arrive.


Prizes

Top 8 finishers will receive Regional playmats and Top 4 will receive Regional deckboxes. 

If more then 500 players enter the Regional Tournament then Top 64 players will receive invites to the 2019 World Championship Qualifier.
*Note: There is no longer a Top 8 Cut. Prizes are awarded on the order of finish from Swiss rounds
Please note: 
All players are now required to present official ID when registering!  Acceptable forms of ID include:
  • Current-year School ID cards
  • Driver’s licenses
  • Passport
  • Other government-issued identification documents
  • If the Duelist is under the age of 16, a copy of their birth certificate

Please bring your Konami ID Card. If you do not have your Konami ID card but played at a regional before we may have your ID number.  If you do not have a Konami ID number, they will be available the day of the Regional.

Due to the expected large attendance we urge players to come early to register!

Pokemon TCG League Cup – Sunday, April 7th at AU Wilmington

Alternate Universes is holding a Pokemon Team Up League Cup on Sunday, April 7th at AU Wilmington!

Pokémon TCG League Cup tournaments are smaller events that give players an opportunity to earn Championship Points and practice their skills for larger competitions. Pokémon TCG League Cup events are held throughout the year.

Registration opens: 10 AM
Tournament begins: 10:30 AM

Format: Standard
Swiss rounds followed by single elimination. Swiss rounds will be single game, 30 minute rounds. Single elimination rounds will be best of three, 60 minute rounds. This event will be limited to 52 players. Decklists are required and will be available in-store the day of.

Entry Fee: $15 Masters, $10 Juniors and Seniors

PRIZES
All players will receive 2 Play! Points for entering, plus the League Cup promo card (while supplies last).
The winner of each age division will receive a Champion playmat!
Booster packs and Championship Points will also be awarded to top finishers in each division, based on division attendance!
