This Sunday, December 12th, Alternate Universes, Blue Bell will be hosting a Magic: the Gathering Grand Prix trial for Grand Prix Atlanta.   This is an Extended format tournament with an entry fee of $20.00. 

Registration will begin at 11AM with play to begin promptly at Noon.  A DCI judge will be on hand for this event. 

The winner will receive a box of Scars of Mirrodin and 3 byes at Gran Prix, Atlanta.  Additional pack prizes will be awarded to top finishers depending on the number entrants.   If you have any questions or need directions or more information please call the store at 610-583-9960.

Alternate Universes Blue Bell will be hosting a Magic: the Gathering sanctioned Legacy Tournament on Saturday, October 23.  Registration will open at 10:00AM with play to begin at 11:00AM.  Prizes will be as follows:

1st place: 4x Tropical Island Dual Lands
2nd Place:  4x Vengevine
3rd & 4th:  $50 store credit
5th – 8th: $25.00 store credit (awarded if 25 players register)

Entry fee is $20.00.  All participants will be entered into a drawing for a random door prize including a From the Vault: Relics set.

This is a DCI sanctioned tournament so no proxies are permitted.

Alternate Universes is proud to be organizing the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Tournament in Philadelphia.  The event will be held Saturday, October 9 & 10 in the Grand Ballroom of the Philadelphia Convention Center.  All Yu-Gi-Oh! players are welcome to enter; there is no prequalification requirement for this tournament.

Preregistration for the event will be held on Friday, October 8th from 3PM to 7PM in the foyer outside the Grand Ballroom.  Registration will also take place Saturday morning from 8:00AM to 9:45AM with the main tournament to start at 10:00AM.  The entry fee is $20.00 and each register player will receive 5 packs of the latest Yu-Oh-Oh expansion – Duelist Revolution!

Side events will be held both Saturday & Sunday.

There will be vendors present all three days to buy, sell and trade Yu-Gi-Oh single cards.  They will also have supplies such as card sleeves, deckboxes, playmats and binders for sale.

Alternate Universes, Wilmington will be hosting the Magic: the Gathering Delaware State Championship Tournament on Saturday, October 9th.  Registration opens at 9AM with play to begin at 10AM.   Here are the details:

$25 Entry Fee
Held in all 50 states & Puerto Rico
Format: Standard (with Scars of Mirrodin) 

Prizes:

• A gorgeous unique Top 8 Playmat, done by Kekai Kotaki. Only 500 of these will ever exist.
• Each State/Provincial Champion receives a championship plaque
• Champions receive a Custom DCI Card done by Kekai Kotaki
• Champions Receive FREE entry into all Constructed Premier Events for a Year!
• Booster packs to top players based on attendance

There is no residence requirement this year. You can play in any state. You can play in Delaware!

AU, Blue Bell will be hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament on Saturday, July 31st with a 1st place prize of a brand new Apple Ipad computer.  Registration will begin at 10AM with the tournament to start at 11AM.   Entery Fee is $20.00 and the format is advanced constructed.  Decklists will be required and there will be qualified Yu-Gi-Oh judges present.  Rules enforcement will be the same as for Regionals.  This tournament is limted to 80 players so come early to make sure you don’t get shutout.

1st place: Apple IPad
2nd place: $150 store credit
3rd & 4th: 24 packs
5th – 8th: $50.00 store credit
