Saturday June 9th @ 12:00 will be the next War Hammer 40,000 tournament. There will be a $10.00 entrance fee.
Here are the rules:
This Warhammer 40K tournament is a large tournament with a tight schedule. Once pairings are announced, players are expected to promptly move to their tables and make the best effort to complete their games before time expires. During the course of play, if you feel that your opponent has violated any game or tournament rules, please contact the judge to review the incident. Once scoring sheets are turned in, judges will have little opportunity to address your concerns.

BASIC RULES
Armies will consist of 1,850 points using the army construction rules below:

Army Construction/Tournament Play Rules:
1) All armies must be Battle Forged
2) Detachments:
a) You can play three.
b) All are legal
3) Forge world units/indexes are legal.
4) Tactical Objectives: Yes, some missions will use them. You can use either army specific ones or main rulebook. Cards are preferred, but not necessary. If you are using cards please remember players cannot share a deck.
5) Updates and FAQs – Yes, as they are published
6) Warlord Traits/Psychic Powers: Are chosen Before each game, and you may change from game to game.
7) Understrength units - No

The Warhammer 40K 8th Edition Rules will be used.
A) We are using all Beta Rules
Forge World Imperial Armor units may be used. The actual Forge World model, or a PRE- Approved Scratch built must be used along with the latest rules. Failure to use the most current rules will result in losses for all games played using incorrect rules. It is your responsibility as a player using Forge World to know what the most recent rules are. Additionally, you must bring a copy of the latest rules for each of your opponents to review. If you choose to use Imperial Armor units, you must bring a copy of their rules for each of your opponents to review.

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG), is preferred but not required.
Proxies: Are allowed (with t.o. desecration.)
Conversions: encouraged
You must provide access to your own rules (which include the actual Codex/White Dwarf & FAQ used for your army), dice, pen/pencil, calculator, or anything else you'll need during the course of regular play.

• Codex Moratorium: We will have a 1 week moratorium on all codex's

No Casino Dice

Army Lists: Army lists are public; you must have an army list for your opponent to review upon request.

Terrain: Will be set up tournament organizers. Adjustments will be made to accommodate fortifications.

In order to keep the tournament running on schedule, when time is called for a round, you may finish the turn in an acceptable amount of time. Ending with the bottom of a turn.

The number of games played will be 3 @ 2hrs and 15mins.

For the first round of games, pairings will be randomly generated by the TO by any mystical way he chooses. Subsequent pairings after the first round will be determined by Swiss Style pairings, meaning players of equal standing are matched up for the next round.
The objective of tournament play is for everyone to have a good time. Players should remain courteous and patient with their opponents and the judge.

Today we had a good turnout 12 players some returning. Matt & John and some new to our group in Shane Jenny. Apparently some of us didn't get the memo....5 out of 12 people brought chaos marines. We had a lot going on, sharing real estate with a small magic event. We started rolling dice at 12:15 and were announcing results by 9. First place won by Craig with an impressive bribes going to two of his three opponents. Tj and Jack D also went two and but were behind in the overall standings by one point. Tj had a higher sportsman score, securing the second place prize. However Jack's litter box of kitty crons took best painted. Jenny took sportsman with a perfect score of 30! The next tournament is on July 14th,...hope to see everyone then...viewtopic.php?f=196&t=2118
