Pokemon TCG Mid Year Celebration Events – July 19th and 26th at AU Wilmington

We’re holding TWO Pokemon TCG Mid Year Celebration Tournaments  at Alternate Universes Wilmington on July 19th and 26th!

July 19th – Lost Box Battle Tower

Similar to Magic’s Dandan format, Pokemon’s Battle Tower format has you and your opponent share a preconstructed 90-card deck, racing to see who can take 6 points, rather than prize cards. Players share a deck, discard, and Lost Zone, so resource management is key! The Battle Tower decks for this event will be based around the iconic “Lost Box” archetype.

Rental event decks will be provided. Players will be provided with a decklist during the event for reference.

July 26th – Expanded

Build a deck using cards from any set from the first Black & White set forward with a banned list!

Format: Lost Box Battle Tower
Swiss style; best-of-1 matches;  the number of swiss rounds will be determined by overall attendance.
