1850pts Warhammer 40k - Alternate Universes Tournament

Summary:
April 13, 2019- 12-9pm (Store opens at 11)
$10 entrance fee
3 - 2 hour 15 minute rounds with one break after round 2 for dinner
Nova Missions
Forgeworld is allowed.

Forge World Imperial Armor units may be used. The actual Forge World model, or a PRE- Approved Scratch built.

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG), is preferred but not required.
Proxies: Are allowed (with t.o. desecration.)

• Codex Moratorium: We will have a 1 week moratorium on all codex's

For the first round of games, pairings will be randomly generated by the TO by any mystical way he chooses. Subsequent pairings after the first round will be determined by Swiss Style pairings, meaning players of equal standing are matched up for the next round.

Prizes
Overall Champion, a combination of three scores (Sportsmanship breaks ties)
Battle Points, Sportsman, Painted

Sportsman: Players will judge they’re opponents in the order that they enjoyed their game; the first name should be the person you enjoyed playing the most.

PAINTING
Players will evaluate their opponents’ army after each round.

Today we had 12 players welcoming the earlier start time (10 am) and expanded points 2k. We had a couple new players in Will, Tim< Erik and John V. We made a few announcements.... more on those later...
Painted went to Erik and his Necrons, Steve took sportsman with 30pts! Craig took first with his newest chaos toys... Followed by Dave by 2pts...

1st Announcement....As we continue making changes with our tournament structure next month we are taking yet another step.... Painted will be separated from our tournament scoring system. We will continue to give away prizes for painted, but the score will be separated from over all scoring. This is entice players to tinker with their lists more and to not penalize them for not being able to paint their armies as quick.

2nd Announcement .... GREEN TIDE - Boys of Summer.... In July rather than running a tourney we will be running a Ork Apocalypse themed event. ... Orks Vs everyone. More details to come... Registration will go up (For non Ork players) after the May tournament. This is a limited event,... for every Ork player that signs up there will be two non- ork player slots available. Players at the May tournament will be given first shot at those slots....I have a couple of ork players already signed up,
