Army Construction
You can only take from one Codex/Supplement (Core Army) and one allied detachment (Allied Army). Battle Brothers only! If you choose to take allies they must be justified. If you choose to take an allied detachment it must be approved by one of the two Jacks. Manfest is supposed to be fun, allies are going to be allowed to allow players to flesh out their army. I know this isn't necessarily the proper terminology. If you plan on making the next broken combo and can't justify the allegiance. It will not be allowed

Army List Construction/ Restrictions:

Force Organization
None, it’s Apocalypse. See below:

Each player may play one army with one allied detachment. Your allied detachment may not exceed 1,250pts.

Allies/ Detachments/Formations/Fortifications
1) Codex Space Marine: If you choose to play multiple Chapters out of Codex:Space Marine. Each Chapter counts as a detachment. Example: If you take White Scars as your Primary Army (Detachment) and choose to take Salamanders as another detachment. You have thus taken Codex Space Marines as your Primary Army (Detachment) and your Allied Detachment. (Multiple Chapters count towards your allies)

2) Codex Inquistion: Count as an allied Detachment (I Know this counters the official Ruling for this codex)

3) If I am overlooking something (Codex, Supplement, etc) please post/ask, an I will address it here.

Formations: All legal Apoc. & Warhammer 40k Formations are allowed. Please remember you must use the most current version of an existing formation/Data sheet must be used to avoid confusion. No Model/Unit may be part of multiple detachment(s) or formation(s).

Fortifications: All, nothing too large (physically) there will be plenty of terrain and other models on the table to begin with. (Must have a viable model approved by one of the two Jacks)

Each player must take a Warlord. Your warlord must be from your primary detachment. You may only take one of any named character.

Points – 3,500 points per player This may be increased to 4,000pts. It is encouraged that all players bring at least an additional 500pts if needed to help balance out teams

Lord Of War - Super Heavies/Gargantuan Creatures: each player is allowed to take up to 30HP/Wounds worth of LoW. IE: one Warlord Titan with 30HP, 3 Warhound Titans for a total of 27HP or 5 Knight Titans for 30HP. You cannot share HP with other players.

Non Super Heavy/Gargantuan LoW choices do not count towards these HP.

You must tell us what Lords of War you are taking by Dec 2, 2016.

Personal Formations – With War hammer 40k & Apocalypse changing some of the formations are no longer valid that we all know and loved. If there is an old formation that you would like to play, or have one that you have created and would like to try. Please send them to my email no later than Dec 2, 2016. That way the two Jacks can Vote.

30K – No 30k units are allowed unless they are also listed as available in 40k.

Primarchs – NO PRIMARCHS

Teams

We have decided on a 22 person limit - 11 per side/team. This may be increased as we determine player interest, forces and table sizes.

Team construction will be clarified at a later date. We will be doing our best to balance the sides while keeping placement random.

Kiddy Pool – If the list fills up, we will continue to allow players to sign up. You will form the kiddie pool.
Apocalypse Rules Clarifications:

Players:
All armies on a side are considered Allies of Convenience. If you think something should effect all units on a side or should be sharable amongst units on a side bring it up with the judges and we’ll rule on it.

Generals:
After teams are determined, each side will elect a General for the game. Generals delegate Strategic Assets, control board objectives and get to boss their team around.

Psychic Phase:
When rolling for Warp Charges, roll separately for each physical table. Psykers only have access to the Warp Charges available to the table they are on. Psychic abilities may only be targeted at units on the same table as the psyker attempting to cast them. One player from the opposing side may attempt to deny the witch using the available warp charges.

Witch fire spells - the player targeted is the only player that can attempt to deny the witch using the available warp charges. If the witch fire spell effects multiple armies (Nova/Beam, etc) any opposing player that the spell effects may attempt to deny the witch using the available warp charges.

Official Breaks:
Official breaks will take place at the end of every even numbered game turn.

Scoring Strategic Victory Points:
Victory points are tallied at the end of each game turn and are added to each side’s Victory Points Pool.
-Primary Objectives are each worth a number of Victory Points equivalent to the current game turn. (IE: 1 point turn 1, 2 points turn 2, etc)
-Secondary Objectives are worth one Victory Point per game turn.
-Warlords are worth 1 point
-You get 1 point for every 3HP you do to a LoW. And 1 point for killing a LoW.

Spending Strategic Victory Points:
Players may spend Strategic Victory Points as described on page 23 of the Apocalypse rule book with the following exception. Only Generals may use Strategic Reinforcements but they may use it to bring back any legal unit on their side. This may only be used once per turn and does not count towards the General’s one point per turn spending limit.

Death From the Skies
Not being used for this event, we are using standard flyer rules from the rule book. Not enough players are familiar with this fine piece of literature

Using Divine Intervention:
Don’t. No one knows the rules and no one’s used one in any Manfest yet so just don’t bother.

Using Finest Hour: See divine intervention above.

Unnatural Disasters:
These rules will not be used for this year’s Manfest. The normal rules are cheesy enough.

Quick mini-update as we finalize this year's rules:

-This will be an attacker/defender scenario.

-The sides will be randomized day of.

-Mobility will probably be a good idea.
