We are holding 3 different Pokemon League Cups on Saturday March 1st at Alternate Universes Blue Bell! We are holding League cups for the Pokemon Trading Card Game, Video Game, and Pokemon Go! League Cups are Pokemon TCG Championship Series Events that are a step up from League Challenges, wherein players of any skill level vie to earn Championship Points. Once a player has earned enough Championship Points, they qualify for the Pokemon TCG World Championships!

We are awarding at least $1,000 store credit total to the Top 8 Masters Division players! Players also win Championship Points based on their final placement (see chart at the bottom of this post).

PRIZE SCALING: When we reach 34 Master players, we will add $30 store credit to their Top 8 prize pool for each additional player! For example, if we get 45 Master players, we’ll add $330 store credit to the Masters prize pool!
*NEW* If we have at least 30 players, top 9-16th will each get 4 packs!

Top Cut will be Top 8 if there are 21 or more players in that division. Otherwise it will be Top 4.

Entry fee: $30 Masters; $15 Juniors and Seniors
Juniors and Seniors each get 3 booster packs for entering!
All players will receive a pack of Prize Pack Series 5 with their entry!

Registration opens: 11 am
Tournament starts: Noon

Format: Standard
Swiss style, best-of-1 matches; Top Cut playoffs are best-2-of-3 matches
Top Cut will be Top 8 if there are 21 or more players in that division. Otherwise it will be Top 4.

PRIZES
(Masters)
The winner in each division will also win a Pokemon League Cup Playmat!
If there at least 20 players:
1st Place: $400 store credit (equivalent to 110 booster packs)

2nd Place: $200 store credit (equivalent to 50 booster packs)
3rd & 4th Place: $100 store credit each (equivalent to 20 booster packs each)
5th-8th Place: $50 store credit each (equivalent to 10 booster packs each)
*NEW* If we have at least 30 players, top 9-16th will each get 4 packs!

Store credit is awarded on an AU gift card, and is usable at any AU location.

(Juniors & Seniors)
The winner in each division will also win a Pokemon League Cup Playmat!
Each junior and senior player who enters gets 3 booster packs just for playing.
Top finishers will win more booster packs based on division attendance (1 packs added to the prize pool per player in respective division).

Pokemon Video Game League Cup

This event uses the CURRENT REGULATION team legalities!

Top Cut will be Top 8 if there are 21 or more players in that division. Otherwise it will be Top 4.

Entry fee: $20 Masters;  $5 Junior and Senior
All players will receive Prize Pack Series 5 with their entry!

Registration opens: Noon
Tournament starts: 1 pm

Tournament starts: 2 pm

Entry fee: $10

Format: Great League
Swiss style; best-of-3 matches; 30-minute rounds; Top Cut if there is enough players; the number of rounds will be determined by overall attendance.

PRIZES
On top of Championship Points, top finishers will win store credit based on overall attendance! Store credit is awarded on an AU gift card, and is redeemable at any AU location.
