We’re holding a Magic: the Gathering Standard RCQ on Saturday, March 1st at Alternate Universes Wilmington!

This RCQ is one of our Standard RCQs for the Season 3, Round 3 season of RCQs, which all support the TWO Regional Championships taking place in May 2025! Thanks to our WPN Premium Store status, we are able to award 2 invites to the next Magic Regional Championships at each of our RCQs! View the rest of our RCQ schedule here.

Magic Regional Championship Qualifiers are open to everyone, and are a player’s first step down the road of competitive Magic. RCQs qualify players for Regional Championships, which in turn qualify players for the Pro Tour and the Magic World Championship.

Each player gets a Secret Lair promo Mayhem Devil for entering! Top 16 finishers get a Secret Lair promo Force of Despair, and each player who qualifies for the Regional Championship gets a FOIL Force of Despair! Both of these promos feature BRAND NEW ART! These promos are in addition to store credit and invite prizes.

PRIZES
1st Place: Invite to Regional Championship, at least $150 store credit, FOIL Secret Lair Force of Despair promo
2nd Place: Invite to Regional Championship, at least $150 store credit, FOIL Secret Lair Force of Despair promo
3rd & 4th Place: at least $100 store credit each, Secret Lair Force of Despair promo
5th–8th Place: at least $50 store credit each, Secret Lair Force of Despair promo
9th-16th Place: Secret Lair Force of Despair promo

PRIZE SCALING: When we reach 32 players, we will add $30 store credit to the Top 8 prize pool for each additional player! For example, if we get 45 players total, we will add $390 store credit to the prize pool.

Store credit prizes are guaranteed for 17 or more players.

Looking for a SCARY good time? Each store is celebrating Halloween this year with special Trick or Treat CHAOS sealed tournaments! Each player will get 4 Duskmourn Play Packs and 2 Mystery Booster Convention Edition packs to build a 40 card deck to use for the event (basic lands will be provided).

Each player will also receive a special Emblem token that will have you HOWLING for more enchantments! It reads: “Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, choose one: Trick – create a treasure token. Treat – create a food token.”.

Players will receive a collector pack for each win they get by the end of the tournament!

We will also be giving out CAVERN OF SOULS PROMOS to 2 lucky participants, chosen at random!
