We’re holding Magic: the Gathering Avatar: The Last Airbender SEALED Prerelease tournaments November 14th-16th at all three of our stores!
Super Saver Prereleases Return for Avatar: The Last Airbender!
Super Saver Prereleases at AU Holmes and AU Wilmington feature discounted $37 entry fees along with a different prize structure! This means for $37 you will get at least 7 Avatar Booster Packs: 5 Play Boosters and 1 seeded Character Booster from your Prerelease Pack, and at least 1 pack from prizing. All of our Blue Bell prereleases will stay the same, with normal entry and prize payouts. See the prize structure at the bottom of this post!
All Prerelease tournaments are 3 rounds. At the tournament start time, each player is given a Prerelease Pack to build a deck and then play for 3 rounds. Prizes can be collected after Round 3. Lands will be provided for free at the event!
Each player gets one of five Avatar: The Last Airbender Prerelease Packs to use to build a 40+ card deck and play for 3 rounds. Each one contains:
- 5 Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters
- 1 Seeded Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Character Booster
- Each Character Booster is themed around a different Avatar: The Last Airbender character and a color of Magic.
- 2 Non-foil double-sided tokens themed to your Prerelease Pack’s color
- 1 Traditional foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare
- 1 Spindown die themed to your Prerelease Pack’s color
To play in official MTG events, you’ll need a Wizards Account email. It’s easy and free!

Entry fee: $50 ($55 store credit)
SEALED 2-Headed Giant: $100 per team (+$5 for each player when using store credit)
Super Saver Prereleases (Holmes & Wilmington only): $37 ($42 store credit)

MTG Avatar Play Booster Packs are awarded based on your tournament record after 3 rounds.
3-0: 10 Play Boosters or $50 credit
2-0-1: 8 Play Boosters or $40 credit
2-1: 6 Play Boosters or $30 credit
1-2: 3 Play Boosters or $15 credit
All other records get 1 Play Booster pack
2-Headed Giant prizes are doubled and awarded per-team.
